Do the guitars wrap you up in coziness or does the nerdy chat on pop culture with a slight disregard for Apple or East-European Geography intrigue you? Where exactly do these wraiths come from and why did they bring their medieval instruments? And that nonsense talk or this ode to household choires with a slight resonance of the housekeeper’s resignation?
Duo “Schaedlinge”, located in Berlin, using ingredients like everyday sounds, guitars interacting with birds, sounds with the natural reverb provided by a radar dome of an abandoned NSA espionage facility, create beautiful little pieces of narrative music. Those are tales reflecting the sound outside and the music within.

My latest release “Still Lifes” contains 15 pieces for acoustic solo guitar painting pictures of widely different timbres into listener`s ears, obliterating borders between composition and improvisation, creating an intimate synthesis from different musical styles like jazz, modern classical music, folk up to aleatoric and dodecaphonic elements.

Electric guitar improvisation with loopmachine and some additional resources like bow, chopsticks and metal spring. Recorded in 7/2009, here for more!
One of John Dowland`s most beautiful pieces: A Fancy (P5), I transcribed it for Acoustic guitar; playable with all the polyphonics, but sometimes difficult to finger;)
I added it to a slideshow of some promisingly existentialistic scenes.
The second movement of the Teufelsberg Suite, using
sounds with the natural reverb provided by a radar dome of a
now abandoned espionage facility in Berlin built by American
Intelligence to intercept Moscow’s and East-Berlin’s communication during the cold war.
The place has been subject to severe vandalism with asbestos oozing out of the walls here and there.
But this piece is perfectly safe for your lungs.
Pictures of abandoned brown coal strip mines in Lower Lusatia/Germany , anthropogenic landsscape, unreal aftermath.
Music: tabernakel by mephuser.
Preview to duo punteado`s new CD,
piece “fast winter” by M.Torbohm,
pun between almost winter in German and a
hopefully fast (short) winter.
Out now! Electric guitar improvisations, pure as possible, with loopmachine and some additional resources like bow, chopsticks, metal spring etc.
